2011 Wild Thing Auction

The annual Wild Thing Auction will be held at the Capital City Country Club in Tallahassee on October 14, 2011.  Doors open at 5pm.  This is one of the largest silent auctions in the area.  And, it includes a very entertaining Live Auction and fabulous buffet dinner.  For more information click  here .  So go ahead and get ready to

2010 Annual Shirts

 

Our annual shirts are designed from a photograph of one of our residents.  The design is by Rupp Shirts of Tallahassee.  This year, the shirts are a beautiful shade of light blue and are available in youth and adult sizes.  If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, please contact us or visit the GCWS Store.  We still have some t-shirts left from previous years so why not get the whole collection?  Shirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton and are $18 each. 

Late summer and fall is when Goose Creek Wildlife Sanctuary takes in many baby squirrels.  If you are in the Tallahassee area and would like to help  foster baby squirrels, please email us.  We will teach you proper care techniques and strategies and provide supplies.  If you can’t foster the critters but would like to help, you can always donate cash or supplies.  Some of the supplies we need include:  Paper towels, Esbilac (puppy replacement formula), unflavored Pedialyte, soft, clean and unfrayed towels and baby blankets, and unsalted nuts.   We also need volunteers to lend a hand in transportation.
