About

Goose Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc.

Goose Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc. (GCWS) was formed in 1988  by a small group of volunteers who wanted to make a difference in the lives of our native wildlife. Our primary mission is to rehabilitate the sick, displaced, injured and orphaned native wildlife in Tallahassee and nearby surrounding areas and ultimately return them to the wild.  We achieve this mission with a network of volunteers dedicated to giving these animals a second chance and provide educational programs to the community.

Funding for GCWS comes primarily from donations from people just like you!  In addition, our volunteers hold several fundraising campaigns each year, including the annual Wild Thing Tennis Tournament, Cheeps Boutique resale event and a year round recycling program for used printer cartridges, cell phones and small electronics.
